2003-12-10 - ABB opens a new service location in the UK at A&P Southampton facilities – a real improvement for the ship-repair and support services available to vessels calling to Southampton.
ABB, the world’s leader in turbocharger manufacturing and servicing opened their new fully equipped workshop located in the A & P Southampton facility at the end of November 2003. The facilities will be equipped with all the latest tooling to carry out overhauls of all ABB turbochargers, including the latest TPL / TPS turbochargers. ABB's unique original turbocharging service will provide rapid response for service and spare parts directly within A & P’s Southampton facility.
Commenting on ABB’s newest service location in the UK, David Spragg, Manager for ABB’s Turbochargers UK said “The new location at A & P Southampton provides an unprecedented service to the marine industry from our first class facility in Southampton.”
